Social Skills Confuse me!

Hi Everyone,
Sometimes the hidden, unspoken rules of how to get along with others are hard to learn without some help.
Social stories are a very useful tool to help children understand social conventions.
If you click on the social stories buttons you will discover a link that we use in our classroom when we have a point of need social skills emergency.
We also use social stories to explicitly teach social skills so that when situations arise, the children have the tools they need to work through tricky social situations successfully.
Social stories are good to use in all sorts of places. Why don't you check them out.

  1. Hello again,
I know I just made a comment, but you have so many resources on your blog! You are an amazing resource to have on hand! Also, I can't imagine going swimming with my class. We don't do that here in Virginia. It sure sounds like fun.
