Hi Everyone,On Friday The Crew spent the morning at a local bakery that has a kids cooking program. We made bread and shortbread in the industrial kitchen with the help of the bakery staff. While the bread was cooking we played in a local park and fed some ducks. The food was delicious and there was plenty to bring home so our families could sample what we had made.
Quite a few of The Crew have decided that they now want to be bakers when they grow up. What would you like to be?

That is cool, at our school we have technology: we have cooking, wood work, art and science.We really like cooking and think you are all really lucky to be able to make food in an actual bakery!

Oh wow, that sounds so cool! I would love to work in a bakery and then I could eat cake and fresh bread all day - yum! I think I'd like to try some of the shortbread you made. What was your favourite part of your day?

I'm now a teacher so will ask my class to post what they would like to be when they grow up.
